She rocked the 2012 Olympic games this summer in London and now she’s ready to rock Rosewood to its core…Ladies and gentlemen, put your fins hands together for Missy Franklin!
Yep — you heard right. The Olympic gold medalist and champion swimmer (who currently holds the world record in the 200-meter backstroke and the U.S. record in both the 100-meter and 200-meter backstroke) is making her debut on Pretty Little Liars Season 3.
Missy will be guest starring as herself in an upcoming episode of ABC Family’s hit drama, and hitting up the Brew to meet champion Emily Fields (Shay Mitchell), who’s a competitive swimmer for the Rosewood High School Sharks swim team. Once Emily recovers from the shock of meeting the medalist, the two swimmers talk shop.
However, no one seems more excited about her appearance than Missy herself since she’s a huge fan of the series! “I am so excited to be doing a cameo for Pretty Little Liars. It is one of the only shows I watch on a regular basis, and my best friends and I have watch parties all the time.”
Welcome to Rosewood, Missy! And is traditional, here’s a piece of friendly advice — with crazy A lurking around, you better watch your back…stroke.
How excited are you to see Emily hang out with an Olympic swimmer? Are you a fan of Missy Franklin’s? Tell us in a comment!
